Aud Hamby is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Oklahoma City, OK. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2022.
Their process in making art is akin to playing, experimenting, and is a way of expressing care. This care being for their subjects; queer and trans people, little things that go under-appreciated, and simply for the act of creating. Now more than ever, the existence of GenAI motivates them to create anything with their hands.
They play with color, texture, and an ever-expanding variety of media, their current favorites being scroll sawing, acrylic painting, and hand-embroidery. Their most favored subjects are bugs and other critters, and the queer love found within and around them!
